It is important to keep up with technology. At least, as much as possible. I created this video during the 2022-2023 recruiting season. My current school, Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools, allowed me to attend both the GRC and ISS Recruiting Fairs. My three immediate supervisors (Tech Director, Elementary Principal, and Superintendent) were each very supportive of my recruiting cycle and held my position in case I did not find the "right fit" for the following years. 

My mission for the 2022-2023 recruiting cycle was to evaluate my value as an overseas educator. I wanted to ensure that my decision to stay for a full 10 years at SAES was indeed the correct choice for my career. 

The video (below) was a ton of work and a joy to prepare. I love my job. It is obvious in the video! Thank you to my colleagues Kent and Karla for helping me with the green screen parts. This is my third professional recruitment video. As such, I ventured away from the animated cartoon format of the previous videos and experimented with a green screen. This was also my first recruiting video created with the robust software Final Cut Pro X. 

As a final note, after all the time and effort put into the 2022-2023 recruiting season, I chose to remain at the Saudi Aramco Schools. SAES has continued to be my "best fit" from 2016 until now. Hopefully, it will continue on until August of 2026. That date will mark the longest time I have lived in one place during my entire life. It will also be a celebration of the longest stay in a school during a career that officially started when I turned 30 years old.
